Rural Addressing

In support of emergency responders in the Texas Panhandle, the Panhandle Regional 9-1-1 Network provides enhanced location capabilities through the rural addressing program. Using state-of-the-art Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and digital aerial photography, the program provides physical addresses for homes and businesses in the unincorporated areas of the 24 county program.

Persons needing an address are encouraged to call 1-800-687-7911. Map products resulting from these efforts are provided to emergency responders to assist in locating persons requesting assistance. These map products are available to the public at the Panhandle Maps  web site.
