Transparency and Reporting
Council of Governments (COGs) or Regional Planning Commissions (RPCs) are political subdivisions of the state and are governed by Chapter 391 of the Texas Local Government Code. The Panhandle Regional Planning Commission has developed and submitted various reports to satisfy reporting requirements per Texas Local Government Code 391.0095 and 391.0117.
These reports are submitted to the Office of the Governor, the Legislative Budget Board, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, and the State Auditor’s Office. The Annual Debt Report is posted to satisfy reporting requirements per Texas Local Government Code 140.008.
