Job Seeker Services

Workforce Solutions staff provide services to over 18,000 Panhandle residents each year. The organization has the information, resources and experience necessary to help job seekers obtain employment.

Persons visiting the Workforce Solutions office in Amarillo have free access to computers, email accounts, copiers, fax machines and telephones. Classes are offered on resume preparation, interviewing skills and job search methods. Information is also available on career options, training availability and community resources. Job seekers in rural communities have access to Workforce Solutions through field visits by staff, the organization’s website, email and toll-free telephone service.

Individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for additional services, including in-depth assessment, counseling and job development, financial aid to pursue post-secondary training, and other support needed while preparing for or starting a career.
